The communal areas were beautifully decorated and provided a welcoming atmosphere.
The bathroom had an empty soap dispenser and there was no extra toilet roll provided.

Perfect stay for couples
The room was big, cozy, and warm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. they even lent us an iron and an ironing board when we needed it.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but the value was still acceptable.

Great spot for a band night!
Had a blast watching a cool band play. The bar was packed, but the vibe was electric! Everyone was dancing, and I tried to show off my moves, which were more cringe than classy 😂. The staff were quick, but the ladies' toilets definitely needed a clean-up 🥴. Breakfast was tasty though, glad I had that!

Ideal for a cricket visit, just a 15-minute stroll from the ground. The included parking was a bonus, and having on-site meals and drinks made for a convenient stay. I enjoyed a well-stocked amenities tray featuring coffee, tea, and biscuits. the cleanliness of the ladies' restroom could improve as it was quite messy during a busy event night.

Had a lovely 4-night stay in a Budget Double Room where the breakfast was cooked to perfection and totally worth it. I really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor garden area and catching up on my favorite shows in the cozy lounge. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it didn't take away from the overall great experience! 😊

The food menu offers substantial pub-style dishes, with two meals for £10.95 being a commendable value. Breakfast at £5 includes a hearty selection, from bacon to hash browns, making it a solid start to the day.
Staying on the second floor presented a challenge with the absence of a lift, necessitating multiple trips up steep stairs. The room, while tidy, had a few maintenance issues like a blocked sink and an inoperative TV that were not promptly addressed. external noise from the street can keep you awake if you’re sensitive to sound, as the windows didn’t block it effectively.

I stayed at the Lambton Arms Hotel and had a lovely time. The staff greeted me warmly, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. My room was immense with a comfortable double bed, two cozy armchairs, and a good-sized bathroom. The shower worked well, providing a refreshing experience. I appreciated the daily replacement of toiletries and the fluffy towels. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. it offered great value for just £5, and I wish I'd tried it sooner. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, especially in the bar area. the noise from the street could be bothersome at times, particularly in the early morning. While I enjoyed the vintage character of the hotel, some areas felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh. Nonetheless, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I felt at home during my stay.
